Our multi day Great Taste Trail tours have been curated to give you a unique trip. Our specialist local knowledge means we tell you all the off-the-beaten-path recommendations and give you an insight into the beautiful Nelson region.

If you wish to explore the incredible Abel Tasman National Park, we can suggest a tour to suit. As the seasons change, so do the things to do in Nelson. We give suggestions because we know what the best options are. Popular isn’t always the best; we understand this unique area and can provide you with the most unforgettable experience.

For someone who wants something a bit unique, we offer a range of carefully designed Great Taste Trail multi-day tours. These are ready to ride tours, but armed with our local knowledge, you’ll find out-of-the-way places that will delight. If you want it tailored to suit your timeframe or interests, we can easily adapt an itinerary to suit your requests

Our bespoke tours can include non-cycling days such as a sky wire ride, vehicle based guided day tours, and of course a range of options to enjoy the Abel Tasman National Park, Golden Bay or Marlborough Sounds. If that sounds like your type of holiday, check out our Tasman Explorer page

We can also offer our ‘Explore More’ cycle experiences that can be incorporated into a Great Taste Trail Cycle tour. If you like more out of the way, gravel roads, we can add them to your tour.

We have carefully selected gravel routes (a mix of sealed and unsealed back roads) that take you to beautiful locations that are not on the local cycle trail.

Cyclists will enjoy the varied nature of The Great Taste Trail and the landscapes it passes through, however many ‘tastes’ of the region are off the trail. We can help you find these other locations, even if you choose a self-guided option. Our comprehensive route notes and maps will help you to explore along the way, confident in the knowledge that you won’t cycle past the best coffee stop or scone on your route.

Do It Your Way

Our tours are adaptable, so we can accommodate all abilities, and particular interests within a group. We can even put together itineraries for groups made up of non-cyclists as well as cyclists.

We appreciate that your chosen cycle tour is yours to enjoy, in a way that best suits you, therefore we do not amalgamate groups. We also allocate each group their own tour manager, to take care of any questions and requests the group may have when on tour.

"3 days, 100 odd kms (give or take), a few hills thrown in for good measure and stunning scenery. So much on offer here. Vineyards, views, mountain bike trails, leisurely trails, old pubs and we can't forget coffee at Ginger Dynamite. Great pasties here too. Nicky was fabulous the way she organised our trip over 3 days for 10 people of different cycling abilities. My e-bike was fabulous. Power assist to help my pathetic legs up all those hills. Yet allowed me to enjoy my cycling. Wheelie Fantastic were really fantastic. Would highly recommend."
